Beautiful Rwanda… its amazing what these guys can load on their bicycles.
Picnic lunch stop on the road.
The border post was modernized and a real pleasure to pass through. There is only one building for customs and immigration for both the countries.
Sadly the first 100km in Tanzania did not yet see the upgrade of the border post. The badly potholed we crawled through but it is just part of the adventure.
On the road in Tanzania, some potholes and red dust.

Busy markets!
We decided on an early morning start to take on our longest day in the saddle. The riders made good time of it and we arrived well in time at Lake Manyara, close to the Serengeti, for sundowners.
Nice swimming pool after the long riding day.
What a view! And then there’s the Rift Valley.
Janis recording the dancers.
Full moon
Tomorrow we go on Safari, the cameras are ready, batteries charged and we leave the bikes for two days to experience the wide open plains and the Ngorogoro crater.
