Swiss Alps and Italian Dolomites

This 9-day Alpine Adventure includes the most popular riding destinations in the Swiss Alps and Italian Dolomites. Features of the tour include:

  • Accommodations vary from comfortable upper middle-class hotels to Five-Star accommodations – clearly a cut above th level of amenities offered with most other tours. Most dining will be a la carte, with many dinners in intimate, upscale restaurants. 
  • The tour begins and ends in Zurich, Switzerland and includes the most popular Alpine passes, including the famous Stelvio Pass.
  • The size of the tour group will be limited to about ten motorcycles, making it possible for to enjoy the smaller, more intimate lodging and dining that distinguish our tours.  Ayres Adventures are not designed for the masses.
  • Overnight stays include 5-star accommodations in Merano, Italy and St. Moritz, Switzerland
  • A visit to the smallest country in the world, Liechtenstein.  This small landlocked country, tucked away in the Alps between Austria and Switzerland, is the only absolute monarchy in Europe.

Meals and Accommodations:
    All breakfasts and 7 dinners are included. We don’t contract with hotels or restaurants for limited selection meals; riders order from the standard menu at top-notch restaurants.  Meals always include non-alcoholic beverages. The quality of meals and accommodations during an Ayres Adventure are but one distinguishing feature of our trips. Lodging ranges from comfortable upper-middle class hotels to luxury accommodations and small, boutique hotels that don’t attempt to attract large groups.

Ride Profile:
     Average daily riding distances are very modest and vary depending on the type of roads traveled. The ride provides plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and to soak up the local culture.  Routes are entirely paved.
